Position Summary:
Our host team is focused on providing a warm, friendly welcome to each and every guest that visits our restaurant. Being the first person each guest encounters, we look for hosts with big, friendly smiles, and people who are happy to help and converse with those who support our restaurant. Responsibilities outside of seating include assisting in organization of reservations, managing rotational seating, answering our phones and taking to-go orders, and assisting in cleaning and resetting tables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival with professionalism and genuine hospitality.
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-in seating using [reservation system name, e.g., Resy].
  • Communicate guest needs, special occasions, and table requests to servers and managers.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and entrance area.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Monitor dining room flow to balance guest experience with operational efficiency.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties for the host team.
  • Reset tables and make sure the area is clean and presentable for the next guests
  • Answer the phone to CPT standards to take reservations or Togo orders
  • Facilitate Togo orders and collect payment from guests
  • Represent the restaurant’s brand and uphold its commitment to providing a warm, upscale, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Previous hosting experience required (will train the right candidate that exhibits an amazing personality and professionalism)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure.
  • Proficiency in restaurant reservation and POS systems a plus.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
